In sagittal and horizontal view the face is on the left side and the back of the head on the right. Coronal view is from face to back of the head. White bars mark the position of the other views.
In the following section the surface of the MR, atlas and matched atlas is recontructed from the images. MR and atlas have completly different folding structures. In comparistion thereto MR and matched atlas are quite similar. You look on the right half of the back of the brain. Cerebellum is missing because it is not drawn in the atlas yet.
